Buttons

Application

The first two Start / Stop buttons are used to start / stop the server in application mode.

During initial configuration we recommend running the server in application mode.

Windows Service

The four gear buttons are used to Start / Stop the Carpark Server as a Windows Service and Install / Uninstall the Carpark Server as a Windows Service.

Running the Carpark Server as a Windows Service has the advantage that the Carpark Server will be started automatically by the Windows operating system when the computer starts up.

Once the configuration is in place we recommend installing the Carpark Server as a Windows Service.

Configuration - Area, Master and Sensor configuration.

Settings - This section allows you to configure General and SQL Server settings.

License - License management. Remember to go here to activate your license.

Log - The Log button brings up a System Log window if running in Application mode. If running as a Windows Service the Log Files folder is opened.

The System Log is intended for troubleshooting only. If you are experiencing issues you are unable to resolve on your own, please contact support.

Status area below the buttons

Application status - Indicates whether the Carpark Server is started in Application mode.

Windows Service status - Indicates whether the Carpark Server is installed as a Windows Service and whether the Carpark Server is started as a Windows Service.

License status - Indicates whether a valid Carpark Server license has been installed.
